Mary Frazer was raised in the quaint New Eng land town of Shrewsbury, Massachusetts. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Massachusetts/North Dartmouth College of Visual Design and Performing Arts and has worked as a designer in graphics and cabinetry.
Manipulating space has always been a fascination and her paintings reveal her sense of form, texture, and light. She feels it’s an on-going process of discovery.
She has been commissioned by private collectors in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Colorado, and Virginia. She has also shown at the Burwell Morgan Mill in Millwood, Virginia, River District Arts in Sperryville, Virginia, Warm Springs Gallery in Charlottesville, Virginia, The Hylton Center, Manassas, Virginia, and The Arts Center in Orange, Virginia.
Mary has two grown children and currently resides in Culpeper, VA with her husband, John.
