I, Maria Briganti, born in Vienna, Austria was exposed early to the fine arts in Austria. In the mid 1960's parents moved to the USA and after finishing my education raising a family, working full time, she had a chance to return to producing art. Additional art instruction from various professional artists were in order. Currently a member of Prince William Art Society, Manassas Art Guild and P-art-ners (a plein air painting group). Previous memberships include ArtBeat (a gallery located in Old Town Manassas) for 15 years, as well as the Fairfax Art League, the Torpedo Factory and the Lorton Workhouse. My favorite mediums are pastel and oil. Collectors are mostly in Virginia/ Dc are but include Carolina and Pennsylvania.
