Elaine Nunnally

I am a Leesburg artist who has been working primarily in watercolor for over 35 years. I taught art in the Loudoun County Public School system for 40 years, but now spend my time painting full-time.

My work varies from traditional landscapes of rural scenes to my series on highways and byways, to my newest series on fishermen. While I paint in the traditional transparent style of watercolor, I also enjoy non-traditional methods of applying heavy layers of paint with a stiff brush.
I hold signature memberships in many watercolor organizations, including the American Watercolor Society.

I am currently a signature member of many watercolor societies, including the American Watercolor Society, and the Virginia Watercolor Society, for which I served as president for 5 years.
