Kathleen Buschow

Kathleen (Kathy) came to painting later in life, in 2009; but the love was immediate. She enjoys portrait and figure work, but since moving to rural Virginia, the landscape has become more prominent in her work. From oils to pastels, to gouache, to watercolor, Kathy explores what each medium has to offer. She enjoys travel painting workshops and has recently started working in art travel journals. Kathy is also an avid gardener and beekeeper and lives in Culpeper County with her husband and Chihuahua.
