Alexandra Kopp

" Art is a creative expression  of our minds perception of thought, feeling and reality.

" Alexandra Kopp is an artist and native of Maryland.   Her art education consists of art classes at Harford Community College and Towson University.  Her oil painting  training began at Zoll’s School of Art in 2010, where she continues studio work with nationally recognized artist, Carol Lee Thompson.  Having  taken workshops with local  and nationally known artists she continues to redefine her painting  and artistic skills. She has always loved to create;  she has always loved creating and  looked for any creative outlets that her lifestyle could accommodate and support while raising her family. In the year 2000, she started painting seriously and  rediscovered her passion for  painting in oils.

 Alexandra Kopp has also been an active voice in the local arts community,  serving as membership chairperson, Publicity Chairperson and the Vice President for the Harford Artists' Association and Gallery.  She  sat on the  Bel Air Downtown Alliance Board of Directors representing the visual arts community. which is an Arts and Entertainment district and she is a past member of the Design Committee for the town of Bel Air.

Alexandra has taught landscape painting in oils and acrylics at two local community senior centers in Harford County, Maryland  2016 to 2023.  It has been a fulfilling and rewarding personal experience  to share her love of art with groups of senior citizens; many who are discovering that they really can learn to paint.
