Primarily a portrait artist, I began doing pencil sketches of my own six children at various ages. Finally taking lessons, I branched into colour with watercolour first, and then pastel.
In 2017, I began a project of finding, visiting, and photographing all the remaining Water Mills in Virginia. Now, I’ve started the project of drawing as many as I found that are in somewhat good condition before they are lost to the elements
