Sandy Wilson

Sandy is an oil painter who lives in Unison, VA. Her work explores the joy inherent in a summer garden or the face of a beloved friend. She finds inspiration in the vivid colors, patterns and personalities she sees in the people and the natural world around her.

While practicing law in Washington, DC, Sandy took courses as a non-degree student at the Corcoran School of Art and at the Washington Studio School. She moved to Western Loudoun County in 2011 where she owns a landscape and garden design firm and paints in an old stone farmhouse. Her work has been shown in juried exhibits organized by Washington ArtWorks, Artists in Middleburg (AiM) and Clarke County Art at the Mill. Her painting “Summer Bouquet” was awarded “Best in Show” in AiM’s 2023 Members’ Exhibition.
