Sharon Clinton grew up in a rural village of northern Taiwan. Besides helping out with farm chores, she loved exploring the terraced rice paddies, streams and mountainous woodlands. She immigrated to America as a young adult, and she has come to love the abundant beauty of the Virginia Piedmont and Carolina low country.
Sharon typically paints in oil with an underlying sense of movement. Her atmospheric landscapes evoke the timelessness of nature.
Sharon is a member of the Artists in Middleburg gallery, the Loudon Sketch Club and the Artists of Palmetto Bluff.
