Nina Burke

Nina was born in Arlington, Virginia and has called the Shenandoah Valley her home for more than 50 years. She has been creating art since she was a little girl and was greatly influenced by her high school art teacher. After receiving her degree from the University of Tennessee she spent many years teaching art in Clarke and Frederick counties. Retiring enabled her to pursue her own art which includes everything from jewelry, print making, painted gourds, and multi-medium painting. She has had the opportunity to exhibit in many locations and has won many awards for her work. Nina has had her artwork selected for many years for Artscape banners in Winchester and has won top awards for her artwork in the Virginia gourd society. 
Nina currently lives in Middletown, Virginia with her husband Jeff.
