Rick Wilkins

Rick Wilkins uses oil paints to capture on canvas his perception of beauty. Primarily a landscape painter he also enjoys the challenges of still life setups and floral arrangements. Most of the landscape work done in his studio is inspired from sketches done on site. 

While he has attended a handful of workshops from other artists, he has self educated through books, magazines and lots of hours in practice.

Contrast and color are the two main attractions to his artistic eye as he searches for beauty.
