Fellows makes art because it is how she sees the world. Moved by changing colors, patterns, shapes, textures, light, her inclination is to create something from the responses to what she sees.
Fellows want others to see her art because it is the way she connects with the world and believes art is a way we connect to one another. Having someone moved by her art is pure joy.
Fellows has been making art since she was a child. As an adult, she followed other paths for a career, but have never stopped being an artist. Fellows and her husband traveled most summers in the west to hike and climb. Doug had a wonderful eye for photography she often stole from his work. They made a good team.
Fellows fell in love with print making several years ago at Anderson Ranch. Printmaking leads us to wonderful surprises.
