Krista Veit

Lake Frederick based artist, Krista Veit, has been capturing homes in watercolor since 2014.  After a relocation to Northern Virginia from New England, the family memories made in each home became a focal point.  Although her focus is on home watercolor portraits, she has been commissioned to capture wedding venues, commercial buildings, engagement locations and special places.  

Krista's journey from accountant into a creative allows her to focus on the small details that make her artwork feel personal.  Watercolor is the perfect medium for her light painting style.  A mostly self taught artist, she also works in gouache, acrylics and digitally.
