Josepha Phillips was born in The Netherlands, moved to the US in 1995 where she married her husband David. She works as a horse trainer and dressage instructor and has started her painting career around 2010. She has been taking art classes locally and many workshops with renowned oil painters. She currently works out of her studio at Creative Brush Studio/Gallery in old Town Manassas. Horses and people are her favorite subjects.
