Cindi has spent a lifetime studying art and art history through coursework, private lessons, workshops, and visits to world-renowned museums in Europe and the United States. She is a portraitist (of humans and animals), as well as a painter of landscapes and still lifes. Her representational style reflects her admiration for the work of the French Impressionists, American artist John Singer Sargent, the animalière Rosa Bonheur, and Russian landscape painters.

Cindi’s work hangs in businesses and private homes. It also can be found on the streets of Washington, D.C. She was selected to participate in several D.C. Commission on the Arts and Humanities public arts projects, including “Pandamonium,” “Party Animals,” and the “Art on Call” (call box) project. Cindi’s paintings have won prizes at juried art shows and have been accepted at Art at the Mill shows in Clarke County, Virginia, Tryst Gallery in Leesburg, Virginia, and exhibits sponsored by Great Falls Studios. Her work was featured in Elan Magazine in July 2019.

Cindi received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia, where she was an Echols Scholar. She earned a Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt University School of Law.

Her studio is in The Artists’ Loft in Great Falls, Virginia.
