LILLIAN Ghisalberti Miller was born in Brazil.
She studied art with several different teachers of varied nationalities and different styles and medias while living in Brazil. Lillian exhibited in Italy and Brazil.
Since moving to the DC-Virginia area, she has participated in portraiture and impressionist workshops at the Smithsonian Institution, and is a member of the Loudoun County Sketch Club that arranges weekly outdoor painting sessions for its members at historic or otherwise local attractive sites. She has shown her paintings in solo and joint exhibits and has accepted commissions for portraits and landscapes.
Her solo was at the Town Hall in Purcellville in 2017. She was asked to come back to exhibit her portraits in 2018 and 2023.
She works in oil, watercolor, charcoal, and pastel.
