Rachel Estrada

Rachel Estrada has wholeheartedly pursued her childhood love for painting in pastel. Her art journey has led her to study with master pastelist Daniel E. Greene and artist Barbara Benedetti Newton. There is so much beauty all around us, above and below us, you just have to look. As life can feel so chaotic, she loves searching out the quiet peace-filled places in a forest or meadow and bringing them back through pastel to share with the viewer. She is currently focusing on wildlife interwoven with gold leaf, as well as combining figure painting & botanicals. Her work has been featured in the Pastel Journal.
