Heather Barker

Heather Barker can't remember a time art wasn't a part of her. She expresses her love for the beauty and grace found in nature, people and everyday life through colored pencil, graphite and a variety of subjects spanning from chipmunks to cookies. Growing up in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley has taught her to treasure all things colorful. Since her gradual shift from primarily greyscale to primarily colored pencil work, the vibrancy of the latter sort of stole her heart. Heather's goal is to spread sunshine through each drawing in some little way, for herself and others.
