Laura Stein

Laura Trent Stein was born and raised in Southern Maryland, and lives in Columbia, MD.  She desires to create aesthetic experiences from the wonders of nature and the affinities of made objects. Close observation informs her impressions, filtered through the lens of classical realism.  Fascinated with the complexity of color, she strives to master the harmony of soft, subtle tones with dramatic rich oil colors.
