Vivian Tanga

I am a Baltimore-based traditional still life and portrait painter. In 2020, I completed a four-year studio art certification from the Schuler School of Fine Arts, where I learned classical drawing and painting methods. In the fall of 2020, I debuted in my first solo exhibition at the Strathmore Mansion in Rockville, Maryland.

My work is, above all, dedicated to creating moments of beauty and meditation. While I paint in a traditional style, I am always striving to find ways to combine the methods of the past with a contemporary point of view.
